The Cosmopolitan’s story
Most people were introduced to this cocktail on Sex and the City. Others know it as an invention of celebrity mixologist Cheryl Cook. The 1980s Martini Queen wanted to give her signature drink a twist – and a colour – that would appeal to women. And it worked. To this day, it’s still one of the most requested cocktails at bars.
